Picnic, recognized as the fastest-growing company in the Netherlands in 2019, faced a significant challenge. Expanding into new cities each month and entering new markets like Germany in 2017 and recently France, Picnic's rapid growth put immense pressure on manual processes for managing devices and orders.

With this rapid expansion, the need for reliable systems to ensure timely deliveries became critical for the 'runners' or delivery staff. Issues such as device battery depletion could severely impact delivery times. Additionally, managing device security and compliance at every location was a considerable challenge without the option to deploy technicians everywhere.

The nomination for the Computable Awards is an honorable acknowledgment of the innovation and collaboration behind this project. We are grateful for this recognition and proud of the results we have achieved together with Picnic and SOTI.
