The connection between LPR GmbH and Reverse IT was established through the ESLA Group, an international network of night distributors and service logistics providers. LPR, like SLS (Special Logistic Services), is part of this network. SLS had previously collaborated successfully with Reverse IT. In 2018, SLS engaged Reverse IT to replace their mobile driver solutions. They were equipped with new Honeywell EDA51 handheld terminals, Logistics.ONE software provided by Aventeon, and SOTI MobiControl for device management.

Transition to Honeywell

LPR GmbH, like SLS, selected the Honeywell EDA51 as their hardware solution, complemented by a three-year support contract with Honeywell. This choice has proven to be ideal due to the device's user-friendliness, high-quality imaging capabilities, quick responsiveness, and robust durability. The EDA51 excels in scanning, even with poorly legible barcodes, and provides highly accurate GPS data, including indoors.

To enhance durability, protective cases were added to further minimize damage from impacts like drops. LPR's business partners can opt to purchase or lease the hardware and communicate additional software requirements to Reverse IT’s Support Team, ensuring a tailored solution that meets their operational needs.

Logistics.ONE from Aventeon and Mobile Managed Services

Logistics.ONE, developed by Aventeon, is an advanced logistics software platform designed to optimize mobile workflows and streamline operational processes in logistics and transport industries. This software supports functionalities such as real-time route management, delivery confirmation, and integration with other systems like warehouse management systems (WMS).
