Babypark is Europe’s largest retailer of baby products, boasting a significant online presence and ten megastores in the Netherlands, with one additional store in Germany. As the market leader in baby gear in the Netherlands, Babypark is part of the FTH Group. Since the partnership began in 2017, Reverse IT has played a vital role in supporting and enhancing their IT systems. Initially, Reverse IT assisted with maintaining existing systems while concurrently working on the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The substantial growth of the FTH Group has increased the pressure on IT and logistics processes. To address these challenges, moving to a more advanced digital environment and embracing automation was essential. Gijsbert van Bochove, IT Manager at Babypark, emphasizes the importance of maintaining core business processes related to warehousing and distribution during this transition.

Always online with fast repairs and a reliable SWAP policy

Through its long-term partnership with Reverse IT, Babypark remains operational even during equipment failures. Thanks to the SWAP policy, defective devices can be replaced immediately, minimizing downtime. During busy periods, Reverse IT offers the option to rent additional equipment, helping to efficiently manage peaks. This approach supports Babypark's transition to a new Warehouse Management System (WMS). Reverse IT advised and implemented modern Honeywell equipment, resulting in cost savings and long-term performance improvements.

Effective collaboration in implementation

The introduction of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) brought several challenges for Babypark. To optimize the integration of new AIDC hardware with the WMS, Babypark turned to Reverse IT for expert guidance. After a thorough testing phase and considering the latest advancements in rugged computing and Android technology, Babypark chose to entrust Reverse IT with the implementation of Honeywell mobile computers, printers, and handheld scanners.

Through close collaboration between Babypark, Reverse IT, and Honeywell, an efficient solution was achieved with Mobile Managed Services. Via a central dashboard, Babypark and Reverse IT can fully manage all mobile devices, ensuring updates and changes are deployed quickly and seamlessly.

With Honeywell's Mobility Edge technology, Babypark benefits from long-term support and sustainability. This results in powerful performance from rugged mobile computers and printers, which are essential for their Warehouse Management System (WMS).
